The Ergs, sort of
If you're having trouble seeing much of a band in this picture, well, so did I. Last Friday, I saw The Ergs last Philadelphia show ever at the Khyber Upstairs. The Khyber is small enough, but the Khyber Upstairs is a crawlspace with a soundboard.
But it didn't matter that I couldn't see much of the band - you can sort of make out the bassist in the photo - because the crowd was full of enthusiastic die-hards, sad to see the band call it quits. Their final final show was at Asbury Lanes in Asbury Park, NJ this past Saturday. Shame to see these guys go, but I couldn't think of a better way to go out.
